To fix Microsoft Edge not opening PDF files, open Edge, click on the three dots, go to settings, click on cookies and site permissions. Scroll down to find PDF documents, ensure 'always download PDF file' is turned off and 'PDF view settings' is turned on. If issue persists, search 'default apps', search for .pdf, set Microsoft Edge as default PDF app.

To clear all annotations from the document: Open the Annotations tab on the right. Tap Clear.
Removing annotations View a page that has an annotation. Right-click on the annotation icon in the document, and click Remove Annotation. Save the changes to a new document by clicking the menu button in the top right, followed by Save As.

To erase ink strokes in the erase mode, just move the pointer across any ink stroke to erase it. Once you are done marking up the file, you can use the Save button in the toolbar to save your work and all the annotations you made will get saved onto the file.
