Use the Built-In Markup Tool to Edit a PDF on iPhone You can use the built-in markup tools on iOS to edit a PDF. To start, open your PDF file in the Files app. Tap on it to open the file and then tap the Markup button. From there, you can add text, highlight, draw and more.
Delete text in PDF Once you have the file open, select the Text Box which is the second icon on the left on the top navigation bar. All editable text will appear on the PDF document in blue boxes. Text can now be deleted from any blue box using the delete button on your devices standard keyboard function.

How to Remove Highlighted Text in a PDF on iPhone Open the PDF document in Highlights. Tap the PDF you want to open in the Highlights document browser: Tap on the highlighted text you want to remove. This will bring up the annotation popover: Tap the trash button in the annotation popover.
To clear all annotations from the document: Open the Annotations tab on the right. Tap Clear.
Once the PDF file is uploaded, click on the Edit button to open the editing tools. In the editing toolbar, you will find a Symbols option. Click on it to access the symbol removal feature.
Click on the Edit PDF tool on the right-hand side of the screen. Select a text block and make changes in the PDF or erase words using your keyboard. Erase entire text blocks by clicking Delete when the block is highlighted.
How to Remove Annotations from a PDF on Mac Open the PDF document in Highlights. From the menu bar choose File Open. Select the annotation you want to remove. This will bring up the annotation popover: Click the trash button in the popover.
