Delete a page from a PDF: Choose View Thumbnails or View Contact Sheet, select the page or pages to delete, then press the Delete key on your keyboard (or choose Edit Delete). When you delete a page from a PDF, all the annotations on the page are removed as well.
Open the Preview app and launch your PDF file on it. Press Command + I to open the inspector menu. Click on the right-most Annotation tab to show all the markups on that window. Now, hold the Command key and select all the highlights in Preview, then hit the Delete button.
Once the PDF file is uploaded, click on the Edit button to open the editing tools. In the editing toolbar, you will find a Symbols option. Click on it to access the symbol removal feature.
View all the notes in a PDF: Choose View Highlights and Notes (so the Highlights and Notes menu item has a checkmark next to it). All the notes in the document are displayed in the sidebar. Remove a note: Select the note in the sidebar, then press the Delete key on your keyboard.
