If you want to locate and remove specific words, characters, or phrases, use the Find text or tools instead. Open the PDF in Acrobat, and then do one of the following: In the Edit menu, choose Redact a PDF. Choose All tools Redact a PDF.
Use a PDF editor to erase individual words. Click on the Edit PDF tool on the right-hand side of the screen. Select a text block and make changes in the PDF or erase words using your keyboard. Erase entire text blocks by clicking Delete when the block is highlighted. Save any changes made to your PDF.
How to remove specific contents of a PDF online: To start, drop your PDF file or upload it from your device or your cloud storage service. Select the content to remove: bookmarks, embedded files, thumbnails. Click on the Remove button.
If you need to add stuff to a PDF document, now you can do that online with Firefox. Open the PDF in Firefox and click the Text or Draw buttons in the upper right corner to make changes to your document. Download the file to save it with your changes.
Once the PDF file is uploaded, click on the Edit button to open the editing tools. In the editing toolbar, you will find a Symbols option. Click on it to access the symbol removal feature. A new window will appear, displaying all the symbols detected in the PDF.
If you want to delete only the annotations and markups, in Acrobat or docHub Reader, you can open the Comments List under the Comment pane, select the first comment, press CTRL+A to select all and then press Delete to delete them all.
Type about:preferences in the Firefox Address Bar. This will bring up options. On the General Page, scroll down to Applications. To the right of Portable Document Format (PDF) select the drop down and choose docHub.
In the editing toolbar, click on the Remove Symbol icon. It usually looks like a small eraser or a symbol with a line through it. With the Remove Symbol tool selected, click on the symbol or element you want to remove from the PDF. The tool will automatically erase the selected symbol and any associated content.
