Most programs will create temp files in a folder called C:\Users\AppData\Local\Temp thats likely where your computer stores most of your temporary files. Its safe to empty out the Temp folder and delete the temp files you find there.
On client and server systems, use the Deployment Image Servicing and Management (DISM) command-line tool to disable Internet Explorer. Run the following command at an elevated command prompt to disable Internet Explorer 11: dism /online /Remove-Capability /CapabilityName:Browser. InternetExplorer~~~~0.0.
To do this you need to go to Tools Internet Options. Click OK to delete cookies. Next click on Delete Files and click OK to delete temporary files. You can also delete your history of visited Web sites, which are Web sites that you have visited that show up in your drop down address bar.
Go to the Start menu, select Control Panel, Network and Internet, Internet Options, Delete browsing history and cookies, click Delete under Browsing History. You can also select Delete browsing history on exit, which will delete temporary files each time you close your browser.
Heres how to clear temp files by using the Temporary Files menu: Open the Windows Start menu and select Settings. Ensure System is selected and choose Storage. Click Temporary Files. Choose the temp file types you want to delete, then click Remove files.
Open Internet Explorer. Click on the Tools (Via the Gear Icon), chose Safety and then chose Delete browsing history. Make sure to uncheck Preserve Favorites website data and check both Temporary Internet Files and Cookies then click Delete.
Clear the Web Browser Cache - Internet Explorer 10 11 Click on the Tools drop-down menu. Select Delete Browsing History from the Safety side-menu. In the window that opens, check the Temporary Internet Files and History checkbox and then click Delete.
