How do I delete unused pages in a PDF?
Highlight the page thumbnail or thumbnails you want to delete from your PDF. Click the dustbin icon in the top toolbar to delete the selected PDF pages. Click Save and rename your new PDF file.
Why wont PDF let me delete a page?
If you do not see Delete Pages in page thumbnail pane, please check the document restrictions summary under Document Properties Security tab to confirm if have restricted permissions.
How come I cant edit PDF in Preview?
Sometimes, when Preview wont let edit PDF, the app isnt the problem - the reason for errors lies in the file having editing restrictions enabled. If you arent the owner of the PDF youre trying to alter, youre likely to run into this issue.
How do I extract pages from a PDF in Preview Mac?
To do this, simply open the PDF file in Preview, select the desired pages, and click the Extract button from the toolbar. After that, you can name the new PDF file, choose a location on your Mac, and save it.
Why cant I delete pages from a PDF in Preview?
If you cant delete pages from PDFs using Preview, then the PDF youre trying to edit may be restricted. While you can do basic editing with Preview, Macs built-in app cannot remove Password Protections on PDFs if there are any. These PDF documents use a Permission Password, meaning theyre owner-protected.
