hey guys trevor here and in this video im going to go over can you delete imessages from both sides its pretty quick and easy so lets jump right in now im going to open up my messages app here and you can see that ive just messaged with myself and you might be wondering can you delete these from both sides and if you tap and hold on any of these bubbles here it will pop up with an option to reply to it and all that stuff at the very bottom you can hit more and it pops up with the trash icon at the very bottom left so i can hit that trash icon and hit delete message now this deletes it from my phone but it does not delete it from both sides theres currently no way to delete that message from both sides you have control over deleting that record of that imessage on your phone but the other person would have to go through the exact same steps to delete that message on their phone as well so doing that is not in any way tied to their phone theres no way to unsend it to their phone
