ClearContents Method In VBA, there is a method called ClearContents that you can use to clear values and formulas from a cell, range of cells, and the entire worksheet. To use this method, first, you need to define the expression somewhere you want to clear the content, and then type . ClearContents.
To remove all formatting in Excel, just do the following: Select the cell or range of cells from which you want to clear formatting. On the Home tab, in the Editing group, click the arrow next to the Clear button. Select the Clear Formats option.
Ink Equations allows you to write equations on a tablet device using a stylus or your finger and then converts them to text. If you are not using a touchscreen device, you can do the same using a mouse.
Right click on one of the selected cells and choose Clear Contents. Your formulas remain, but the rest of the cells are cleared.
If you click a cell and then press DELETE or BACKSPACE, you clear the cell contents without removing any cell formats or cell comments. If you clear a cell by using Clear All or Clear Contents, the cell no longer contains a value, and a formula that refers to that cell receives a value of 0 (zero).
Hide error indicators in cells On the Excel menu, click Preferences. Under Formulas and Lists, click Error Checking. , and then clear the Enable background error checking check box. Tip: You can also hide precedent and dependent tracer arrows once youve identified the cell that is causing an error to appear.
Remove a watermark from a sheet On the Layout tab, under Page Setup, click Header Footer. Click Customize Header, and then click the section of the sheet header in which the watermark appears. Select the watermark, and then press DELETE . Click OK, and then click OK to close the Page Setup dialog box.
