hello and welcome to this excel tips video Im so mad pencil and in this video Im going to show you how to quickly remove the formulas from Excel but keep the data so here I have the data for these companies I have the revenue number expense and I have the net income value which is calculated by subtracting expense from revenue if you have a look at the formula it is this L minus this and thats the same case for all these now what I want to do is remove the formula but still keep the net income value and its really easy you simply select this entire data set you copy this then right click and go to paste special and here in the paste special dialog box you have the value option as soon as you click on value and click OK it is going to paste the values only and the formula would go away so now when I click OK see what happens now when I select this cell you can see that the formula bar only shows the value and not the formula because the formula has gone let me also show you another

The most straightforward way to drop a Pandas dataframe index is to use the Pandas . reset_index() method. By default, the method will only reset the index, forcing values from 0 - len(df)-1 as the index. The method will also simply insert the dataframe index into a column in the dataframe.
You need to add parameter 'index=False' to function to_excel() to remove index column.
Specific rows and columns can be removed from a DataFrame object using the drop() instance method. The drop method can be specified of an axis – 0 for columns and 1 for rows. Similar to axis the parameter, index can be used for specifying rows and columns can be used for specifying columns.
Rows or columns can be removed using index label or column name using this method. Syntax: DataFrame.drop(labels=None, axis=0, index=None, columns=None, level=None, inplace=False, errors='raise') Parameters: Return type: Dataframe with dropped values.
Drop Index Column While Exporting to CSV DataFrame. to_csv() method provides parameters to ignore an index and header while writing. To export a DataFrame to CSV by dropping an index in Pandas, use the index=False param. Here, the to_csv() method is used to write Pandas DataFrame to CSV.
When ever data is changed in a column that has an index, the index is also updated. So, a DELETE statement will mean that all the indexes on the table will need to be updated, as will an INSERT .
To simply remove an embedded file or object, select it and press Delete.
You can write to csv without the header using header=False and without the index using index=False .
Syntax: dataframe is the input dataframe. drop is set to True to remove index values. inplace is to set the default integers.
