To do the same follow the below procedures: First, open the Ubuntu terminal. Type the following command in the command line: sudo deluser --remove-home user2. sudo: Grants administrative privileges. Press ENTER. Give the password of the currently logged-in user and hit ENTER.

Steps to Clean Up Your Ubuntu System. Remove all the Unwanted Applications, Files and Folders. Using your default Ubuntu Software manager, remove the unwanted applications that you dont use. Remove unwanted Packages and Dependencies. Need to Clean the Thumbnail Cache. Regularly clean the APT cache.
To delete everything in a directory run: rm /path/to/dir/*
To remove a directory and all its contents, including any subdirectories and files, use the rm command with the recursive option, -r . Directories that are removed with the rmdir command cannot be recovered, nor can directories and their contents removed with the rm -r command.
Open a terminal and run sudo apt nautilus-wipe to the program: Y to continue the installation, and once the prompt has returned in your terminal, run nautilus -q to start the nautilus service. Now you can open any file in the file explorer, right click, and select Wipe available disk space .
