okay heres a little tutorial on how to remove comments from a document this happens especially with our course syllabi where the template was designed to show comments and lets say you dont want to see them anymore so these are these are the comments over on the left-hand side on the right-hand side and they often print with the final version and things like that and when you send them on to your department head they have to deal with them and they may not want to so if you and if you just turn them off the next time you open up this document because its part of the original document the comments come back so we want to get rid of that so this is the way you do this we need to go to the the toolbar at the top and go to the review tab this gets the contact context-specific toolbar up where they show you know spelling and language and the like and here under comments you can create new comments delete comments but if you do the drop down list one of the options under the little comm

Contact us
On your computer, open a document, spreadsheet, or presentation. On the comment you want to edit or delete, click More . Click Edit or Delete.
From a phone: Open the comments section. Long tap a comment on Android or swipe it to the left on iOS. Choose Delete.
Reply to a comment: At the bottom of the comment, tap Reply. Resolve a comment: At the bottom of a comment, tap Resolve. Move between comments: Swipe left or right. Delete comment: Tap More. Delete. Return to editing view: Swipe down on the comment area in the document, spreadsheet, or presentation.
Edit a comment If you want to change something you wrote, you can edit the comment you left on a post. You cant edit other peoples comments. Find and tap the post you commented on.
You can always delete comments youve made on other peoples posts.
Long tap a comment on Android or swipe it to the left on iOS. Choose Delete.
If the Delete option doesnt appear, then you are trying to delete someone elses post, which is not possible.
You can view and delete comments youve made on other peoples Instagram posts from Your activity. Tap below the post. Tap and hold the comment youd like to delete. Tap Delete.
Go to the post that has a comment you want to delete. Below the comment you want to delete, tap More, then select Delete. Tap OK.
Tap the comment bubble icon to see all the comments associated with the post. On the iPhone, swipe the comment to the left and tap the Trash can icon. On Android, tap and hold the comment until the pop-up bar appears at the top of the screen, and then tap the Trash can icon.
