This tutorial demonstrates how to disable PDF printing by making the document secure. Open Windows Explorer, locate the PDF, right-click, and select "Make Secure PDF." In the PDF writer, go to the printing and viewing tab and deselect the allowed printing checkbox. Click "Publish" to confirm the protection status. The protected document will now have a .pdc extension and can only be opened with the lock lizard secure PDF viewer. Printing is disabled, as the print icon will be greyed out and shortcuts like Ctrl+P will not work.
