To reduce a 48MB brochure file size, go to File > Save As > choose docHub PDF > press Save > click Optimize for Fast Web View > remove Preserve Illustrator Editing Capabilities. Then go to Compression > choose Average Downsampling 300 PPI > change compression to Automatic JPEG > set quality to higher maximum. For Marks and Bleeds, choose Trim Marks, then press Save PDF.
