hey guys welcome back to my channel in todays video Im gonna show you how to make a shortened URL for a longer link that you might want to share with people on the internet for me personally I just want to create a shortened link in order for people to be able to subscribe to my YouTube channel and Ive been doing research so I thought might as well make a video about it theres a couple websites that allow you to do this and theyre all basically the same thing the first one is tiny URL nothing against it but its website just seems very basic the next one is Oh W dot ly and I dont know much about this I dont see many people using their links so I would rather just pass on it the next one is goo GL this is Google however I was gonna use this because YouTube is a Google product but it says right here on March 30th 2008 we turned down support for goo GL URL shortener and they just tell people you should go to bit ly the reason why they shut this down is because they started doing so
