well hello there my name is hw and thank you so much for watching tonejekytv dudes and dudettes um were talking about the quad cortex today and um specifically i want to touch on how to eq your captures for your guitar for your ear for your style and for your mix how to do it uh what i think are the best practices i want to get into one of those today theres a million ways to eq stuff theres a million ideas eq placement signal chain stuff but i want to show you kind of something you must understand and if you get a hold of this kind of eq trick you will have no problem dialing in captures to sound the way you want them now you may have noticed theres not a ton of options to change captures once theyve been captured on the qc and you may be thinking well are the models better i seem to have more parameters all i have is gain volume and three eqs on a capture but um i want to show you how to use some of the very powerful eqs in the quad cortex to really change the sound not in a wa
