have you ever been in your email or on a page and you went to print and when you did it stripped off all the logos and all the other stuff and just kind of left you with the main article or the email that youre printing the way that its done is by having a specific CSS file for printing and feeding it into the system so lets show you how to do that right now Im going to do another link and Im going to link out to a print CSS file that were going to create here in a second say rel equals stylesheet just like normal and we can do a type equals text of CSS but were going to do something to differentiate these two files because right now it would pull up the print file and try to display it on the screen just like normal so were gonna change the type of media that is being used here okay and theres lots of different types but primarily were going to use one called screen and were gonna use another one called print and these are something were gonna be using in the future with

We can add a page break tag with style "page-break-after: always" at the point where we want to introduce the pagebreak in the html page.
The page-break-after property adds a page-break after a specified element. Tip: The properties: page-break-before, page-break-after and page-break-inside help to define how a document should behave when printed. Note: You cannot use this property on an empty
or on absolutely positioned elements.
Insert a page break Put your cursor where you want one page to end and the next to begin. Go to Insert > Page Break.
The page-break-after CSS property adjusts page breaks after the current element. This property applies to block elements that generate a box. It won't apply on an empty
that won't generate a box.
In the message, select the section that you want to print. Select the text or other part of the message directly in the browser window, not in the Print Preview window. On the browser toolbar, click the arrow next to the Print button, and then click Print. Under Page Range, click Selection, and then click Print.
To suggest a page break, add

before the beginning of a new printed page. For example, if you place the following tags on a HTML page and print it using a compatible browser, you will end-up with three pages with the sample text. This is the text for page #1.

When you print in landscape, you are pretty much guaranteed that nothing will get cut off at the margins. In most browsers, you go to the file menu, click on 'page setup', and in the page setup window click check the landscape box before you do your print out.
page-break-before: auto instead of . page-break-before: always. The "auto" will break the page only if the contents are at the end if the page, this will prevent breaking the page and leaving a lot of blank space. Save this answer.
Select the portion of the Web page that you wish to print by highlighting it. Place the mouse cursor at the beginning of the section you wish to print, then press and hold down the left mouse button and move the cursor to the end of the desired section.
Use " overflow: auto " (or maybe " overflow: visible ") instead. Is the element itself, or a container, using " position: absolute " or " position: fixed ". You should use " position: static " (default positioning) for printing.
