Right-click the paragraph or subhead that you want to keep with the content that follows it. In the box that opens, select Paragraph. In the Paragraph dialog box, click the Line and Page Breaks tab. In the Pagination section, select the Keep lines together check box, and click OK.
If you used a page size that's larger than your printer can handle, you can expect your content to run off the paper. To fit your file to the sheet size you're using, use the "Print to Fit" feature of your software – if it includes one in your print settings – or target another device that handles larger paper.
Print only certain pages Open the print dialog by pressing Ctrl + P . In the General tab, choose Pages from the Range section. Type the numbers of the pages you want to print in the text box, separated by commas. Use a dash to denote a range of pages.
The usual reason borders don't print is something called your “printer's minimum margin setting.” There are a couple of ways to figure that out so that you can adjust your margins ingly before you print. Go to Design > Page Borders. Select Options.
If your document is in Print Layout view and the top and bottom margins appear to be cut off, the option for hiding margins has been switched on. Here's how to switch it off: Point to the top or bottom of a page until the pointer becomes a double-pointed arrow, and then double-click.
To split a page to 4 parts, you can insert a table to deal with the job. Place the cursor at left-top of the page, then click Insert > Table, select 2x2 Table. The table has been inserted, then drag right-corner of the table to resize it as you need. Insert texts into the columns and rows separately.
Drag your cursor across the four squares in the upper left corner of the submenu, and then release your mouse button. Word inserts a four-cell table into your document.
Probably the simplest solution is to click the Design > Page Borders button open the Borders and Shading dialog, click the Options button there, and set the Measure From dropdown to "Text". If your sign doesn't have a header or footer, clear the two "Surround" check boxes.
