Change the default layout Open the template or a document based on the template whose default settings you want to change. On the Format menu, click Document, and then click the Layout tab. Make any changes that you want, and then click Default.
An easy way to make texts fit within the pages of the document is to adjust the indent. For example, if the texts go beyond the right margin of your Word page, there will be a negative value for right indentation. Therefore, we can correct it by changing the value to zero.
The zoom percentage that the document is set to may cause characters to have the top or bottom portion of the screen font cut off. You can adjust the zoom percentage from 75 percent to 100 percent in most cases to correct this visually.
After selecting the cells, press CTRL+1 and select Fill option from Horizontal drop down menu under the Alignment section. 3. Once you select the fill option and hit OK, the overflow text will hide.

Probably the simplest solution is to click the Design Page Borders button open the Borders and Shading dialog, click the Options button there, and set the Measure From dropdown to Text. If your sign doesnt have a header or footer, clear the two Surround check boxes.
To restore the original margin settings, click Margins and then click Custom Margins. Change the margins for Top, Bottom, Left, and Right to 1. Then click the Default button and click Yes.
At the left margin? Is this right-to-left text? In any case, wrapping problems of this nature are usually due to document corruption (occasionally a damaged font). If switching to a different font doesnt solve the problem, you might try using the Open and Repair option in the Open dialog.
On the Home tab, in the Paragraph group, click Show/Hide to show all formatting marks including page breaks. Double-click the page break to select it, then press Delete. Click Show/Hide again to hide the remaining formatting marks in the document.
Set your cursor to the location of the paragraph spacing. Click on the Line and Paragraph Spacing icon in the Home Ribbon. Select Remove Extra Space to remove the extra space.
