hi in this video were going to work with the normal distribution and find cutoff points corresponding to a given percentile lets try it with an example the average daily high temperature in June and ly is 77 degrees Fahrenheit with a standard deviation of 5 degrees Fahrenheit suppose that the temperatures in June closely follow a normal distribution how cold are the coldest 10% of the days during June in LA were given a normal distribution so the first thing we should do is to draw a curve and Mark our mean then we want to think about where does this observation live the cutoff point for the coldest 10% of the days in June in LA since as the coldest 10% its going to be located at the lower end of the distribution were kind of guesstimating a cut-off your ear there and were interested in this unknown observation X were working with a normal distribution we have some percentiles it makes sense to think about z-scores usually we calculate a z-score as an observation minus the mean

Change the default layout On the Format menu, click Document, and then click the Layout tab. Make any changes that you want, and then click Default.
Remove a page break from a Word document On the Home tab, in the Paragraph group, click Show/Hide to show all formatting marks including page breaks. Double-click the page break to select it, then press Delete. Click Show/Hide again to hide the remaining formatting marks in the document.
Probably the simplest solution is to click the Design > Page Borders button open the Borders and Shading dialog, click the Options button there, and set the Measure From dropdown to "Text". If your sign doesn't have a header or footer, clear the two "Surround" check boxes.
Check the Margin settings under File>Page Setup to make sure that the right margin is OK. Also check the paragraph format to make sure that you do not have a negative right indent which could be causing the text to extend into an area that is unprintable by your printer.
The zoom percentage that the document is set to may cause characters to have the top or bottom portion of the screen font cut off. You can adjust the zoom percentage from 75 percent to 100 percent in most cases to correct this visually.
Make sure the Allow Spacing Between Cells check box is selected. In the control to the right of the check box, specify how much space to leave between cells. Click on OK to close the Table Options dialog box. Click on OK to close the Table Properties dialog box.
If your document is in Print Layout view and the top and bottom margins appear to be cut off, the option for hiding margins has been switched on. Here's how to switch it off: Point to the top or bottom of a page until the pointer becomes a double-pointed arrow, and then double-click.
The usual reason borders don't print is something called your “printer's minimum margin setting.” There are a couple of ways to figure that out so that you can adjust your margins ingly before you print. Go to Design > Page Borders. Select Options.
The issue seems to occur because new rows were being created with a line spacing option of Exactly 6 points. Solution that seems to work is to select the row with the issue and change the line spacing (Home > Paragraph in ribbon > Spacing) to Single.
Try it! Select Layout > Margins. Select Custom Margins. In Margins, use the Up and Down arrows to enter the values you want. Select OK when done.
