Im going to take you through some use cases that I personally find useful. The other important question is, Does it work properly or do you end up with more work because you have to fix everything afterwards? Well, Im going to use different types of images and were going to test it out together and lets see what we get as the final outcome. Our first test case is a screenshot. So, I often get screenshots of peoples spreadsheets looking for solutions. They cant always share the file itself because of sensitive data, but for me its easier to figure out a solution when I can actually use the data and Im not a fan of recreating the screenshot by hand. You may remember there is a way to convert an image to Excel and I covered it in this video, but for that you had to

Crop to a specific shape In your file, select the picture that you want to crop to a specific shape. Click the Format Picture tab. Under Adjust, click the arrow next to Crop, point to Mask to Shape, point to a type of shape, and then click the shape that you want to crop the picture to.
Crop your picture to fit a shape Select a picture. Select the Picture Tools Format tab, and then select Crop Crop to Shape. From the shapes gallery, select the shape you want to crop to.
