To crop PDF pages, we need pdfcrop and pdfjam, which on Debian-based distributions are included in the extra utilities of the TeX Live distribution. We also need pdfinfo to get the page size of a PDF and pdfunite to merge PDF files. Both are provided by the poppler-utils package.
