To turn off Microsoft News as the new tab page in Microsoft Edge, click on the plus sign to open a new tab. Then click on the three dots in the top right corner, go to settings, select new tab page on the left side, click customize, choose custom, and under content, select content off. This will remove the Microsoft News page and restore the traditional new tab page.

If youre having issues with your autofill information not showing up in forms, head over to the button, choose Settings at the bottom of the drop-down menu, click Profiles, then select Personal info under Your profile. Make sure the Save and fill basic info and Save and fill custom info toggles are turned on.
