How to Create Radio Button Groups Document on OnePlus

4.6 out of 5

When creating radio buttons on a fillable form, ensure that each set of options is in a separate group. This prevents issues like disappearing selections when previewing the form. To separate groups, add all radio buttons and rename choices to indicate different groups. For example, if choices 1 and 2 are in group 46, and choices 3 and 4 should be in group 47, adjust the properties accordingly to create distinct groups for each set of options.

To create each radio button option, create a RadioButton in your layout. Because radio buttons are mutually exclusive, group them inside a RadioGroup . The system ensures that only one radio button within a group can be selected at a time.
Only one radio button in a same named group of radio buttons is selectable at a time and only the one that is checked will be sent to the server on form submission. While you generally want a unique name for most form controls , you need to give all your radio buttons in a group the same name.
You can check a radio button by default by adding the checked HTML attribute to the element. You can disable a radio button by adding the disabled HTML attribute to both the and the .
A radio group is a set of checkable buttons, known as radio buttons, where no more than one of the buttons can be checked at a time.
Use the querySelector() method to check whether a radio button is selected. Programmers can use JavaScripts querySelector() method to select any HTML element. Here, we have used the querySelector() method to select only the checked radio button. If no radio button is selected, it returns a null value.
add onclick=handleClick(this); inside radio button. Now get data from local storage on document ready . And set checked attributes to that radio button. If you want a radio button to be checked, you give it the attribute checked.
Get the value of selected radio button: querySelector() Remember you need to specify the name property of the radio button in HTML code. It is used as document. querySelector(input[name=JTP]:checked) inside the tab to check the selected radio button value from the group of radio buttons.
Therefore only one RadioButton at a time can be selected, even if it is a part of a functional group. You group radio buttons by drawing them inside a container such as a Panel control, a GroupBox control, or a form.
