Defining a radio group A radio group is defined by giving each of radio buttons in the group the same name . Once a radio group is established, selecting any radio button in that group automatically deselects any currently-selected radio button in the same group.
Radio buttons provide users with a single choice from a set of alternative options. They always appear in a group of at least two radio buttons. Therefore, you should define radio buttons only within the radio button group control, not as single elements.
Therefore only one RadioButton at a time can be selected, even if it is a part of a functional group. You group radio buttons by drawing them inside a container such as a Panel control, a GroupBox control, or a form.
Responsive web design.
Only one radio button in a group can be selected at the same time. Note: The radio group must share the same name (the value of the name attribute) to be treated as a group.
Always Offer a Default Selection One of the 10 heuristics of UI design says that users should be able to undo (and redo) their actions. This means enabling people to set a UI control back to its original state. In case of radio buttons this means that radio buttons should always have exactly one option pre-selected.
Only one radio button in a given group can be selected at the same time.
Tip: You define radio button groups with the name property (radio buttons with the same name belong to the same group). The name attribute is used to identify form data after it has been submitted to the server, or to reference form data using JavaScript on the client side.
