Full-featured PDF viewing right from your browser. The Google Chrome browser comes with built-in PDF viewer functionality that enables you to open and access PDFs easily.
If you have a PDF open on your Android device, you can use Google Assistant to read it aloud. Simply say Hey Google, read this page or Hey Google, read this PDF and the Assistant will start reading the text. You can adjust the reading speed by saying Hey Google, read slower or Hey Google, read faster.
Look in the Documents folder. On Androids, all document files including PDFs, text files, CSVs, and more are stored in the Documents folder. Open your Android app drawer by swiping up from the bottom of the screen. This can be accessed by tapping the icon on the home screen. Select My Files (or File Manager).
Scan documents as PDFs on an Android device and open the Drive app. Tap New. Scan . When youre done scanning, tap OK. (Optional) To scan multiple pages, tap Bulk add. OK. Tap Save. Enter a name for the file, choose a Drive account to save the file to and a Drive folder, and tap Save.
Download and Acrobat Reader from the Google Play Store. Launch the app. On the bottom menu bar, choose Files. Locate your PDF file on your Android and select it.
Locate your PDF within Google Drive, then right-click and select Open With Google Docs. Edit your document. Once your file opens in Google Docs, you can now start to make edits. When you finish, navigate to File Download PDF.
How to Change Default PDF Reader on Android. Go to Settings Apps and then find the default PDF viewer youre using. Tap on the PDF viewer app you want to make your new default and scroll down to Defaults. Tap on the Default tab and then select your desired programme as your new default.
