Open and view the PDF file that you want to read. Tap on the Markup icon, which is present at the top of the interface. Choose the highlight option from this toolbar. Also, if you want to change the color of the highlighting tool, be sure to long-press that icon.
How to annotate PDF files: Open a PDF in Acrobat and select the Comment tool. Add PDF annotations to your file. You can add text boxes and sticky notes, underline text, strikethrough content, highlight text, and more. Save your file.
Mark up your PDF with an Apple Pencil using Preview. Open the PDF in Preview. Click the Markup toolbar button. Select the desired markup tool, such as the pen or highlighter. Use your Apple Pencil to write, draw, or highlight the PDF. Save your changes and share the document as needed.
Tap the Camera button or the Document button , then look for the photo or PDF that you want to attach and mark up. Tap the attachment, then tap the gray arrow icon . Tap the Markup button to add your markup. Tap the plus button to add a signature, text, and more.
Open the preinstalled Files app on your iPad. Using the name of your PDF, search for your PDF and open it with a tap. Tap the marker tip icon on the upper right side of your screen. Use the editing tools that appear at the bottom of your screen to highlight, draw, and otherwise annotate.
In the Notes app , you can attach, view, edit, and collaborate on PDFs, including documents you scanned into a note.
Annotate PDFs on Android At the bottom right corner, tap the annotate button . A toolbar opens with multiple annotating tools. You can use a stylus or your finger to select an annotating tool. Tip: You can tap and hold the toolbar to snap it to any side of the screen.
