so for this particular problem you are using an absolute reference so that the cell remains constant as you copy the formula in the show me and guide me section it had you do this by pressing f4 which adds a dollar sign in front of the column and row if you are a mac user you do not have the f4 button in this instance youre going to type the dollar signs in manually so i will go ahead and show you the example the cell b15 is already selected so instead of hitting f4 youre going to just type in those dollar signs so its going to show as dollar sign g dollar sign 2 and hit enter and it will still mark it correctly let me know if you have any follow-up questions thanks bye
