That can be accomplished by Right-clicking the open field and selecting Zoom from the Context Menu. With the Zoom window open we can enter our calculation. The information to the left of the colon represents the caption we want at the top of the column. The information to the right of the colon is our calculation.
Sign into Looker Studio. Edit your data source. Locate the compatibility mode date field you want to convert. To the right, click the Type menu, then select Date or Date Time.
In the Setup tab of the Properties panel, click + Add dimension or + Add metric, depending on the kind of calculated field that you want to create. Click + ADD FIELD. Enter a field name. Enter your formula.
Select a table. Select Click to Add Calculated Field, and then select a data type. Enter a calculation for the field, and then click OK. Type the expression yourself, or select expression elements, fields, and values to put them into the expression edit field.
On the top-left side of the screen, click Field library. Use the search box or expand the Calculated section to locate the calculated field you need, then drag the field where you want it to appear in the custom form. (Optional) Repeat the previous step to add any other fields.
Using the Custom Fields section Select Add in the Custom Fields section of the field picker. Select the type of field that you want to create. Select a field to measure from the Field to measure drop-down, select the measure type from the Measure type drop-down options, and then specify a name in the Name field.
