Heres a simple guide to help you: Open your web browser and type in the URL of your SharePoint site. Enter your credentials (username and password) when prompted. Click on Documents or Library from the home page menu. Choose Open with Explorer from the ribbon at the top of the page.
Try document modes Open the site in Internet Explorer 11, load the F12 tools by pressing the F12 key or by selecting F12 Developer Tools from the Tools menu, and select the Emulation tab. Run the site in each document mode until you find the mode in which the site works.

To make sure that Open with Explorer works correctly, you must include the SharePoint site URL or the OneDrive for Business URL in addition to the -files (for a site) URL or the -myfiles (for a OneDrive for Business library) URL. After you add each site to the Websites list, select Close, and then select OK.
In June 2022, we stopped supporting Internet Explorer 11 (IE 11) at Microsoft 365 apps and services. As a result, we no longer recommend View in File Explorer and encourage using the OneDrive sync client.
Use sync instead of Open with Explorer or View in File Explorer. The Open with Explorer command in the classic SharePoint experience relies on Internet Explorer 11 and isnt available in newer browsers.
How to Open SharePoint Online in File Explorer? Open the SharePoint site in Internet Explorer/Microsoft Edge/Google Chrome. Click on the View menu drop down from the top-right area (such as All Documents) Select the View in File Explorer Menu item.
Change Internet Explorer settings To view all settings and options, open Internet Explorer on the desktop, select Tools Internet options.
