hey everybody John wagged on here with dev central and we are inside a big IP today were gonna look at URL redirects a lot of people use I rules for URL redirects but you dont have to you can use policies for this and in fact we did a video on this a while back with an earlier version of the big IP but today were gonna do an updated version because the user interface has has been updated fairly docHubly I am in version 13.1 today one of the other things I was going to say too about policies versus eye rules is policies are typically faster than eye rules and frankly theyre a little easier to manage because you dont have to know the you know the syntax of tickle and get all that coding stuff and all that stuff so you can you know its a little little easier to to manage policies than it is I rules so I just want to make sure we go over what to do on all that so this is my big IP I have a virtual server HTTP Verte virtual it has a pool and these are all the different pool memb

Add a link Highlight text or tap the area in the file where you want the link to appear. Tap Link. In the Text field, type the text you want to be linked. In the Link field, enter a URL or email address, or search for a website.
Right-click anywhere on the link and, on the shortcut menu, click Edit Hyperlink. In the Edit Hyperlink dialog, select the text in the Text to display box. Type the text you want to use for the link, and then click OK.
To add a link in the RTF field Click the RTF icon next to the character field to open the RTF Editor. Select the text to add a link to the bookmark. Click the HTML Link option ( ) to create a link to the bookmark on the RTF field or link to an external URL.

Right-click anywhere on the link and, on the shortcut menu, click Edit Hyperlink. In the Edit Hyperlink dialog, select the text in the Text to display box. Type the text you want to use for the link, and then click OK.
