got a google image search here for a cat and i want to show you what happens sometimes so if i right click this cat picture and i do a save image as it tells me here that its going to be a jfif file so thats going to be a problem but were going to fix that so im just going to change the file name just to cat so its going to be cat automatically.jfif all right now were going to go to the folder and heres our file now normally you dont see the file name extension by default when youre on the home tab here so if you go to the view tab im in the windows explorer im going to turn on this box here file name extensions i do want to see them so now we can see the jfif file extension im going to do an f2 to rename the file and instead of changing the name of the file im actually going to change the file extension from a jfif to a jpg and its going to give me a message saying it might be unstable are you sure you want to change it yes im sure all right now so thats the conversio
