ghetto roosters so good text heights make a drawing legible legibles a great word because it means clear to read and thats what we want our drawings to be clear to read now often when i see a drawing thats an absolute dogs breakfast its because the text heights are not consistent or theyre too small its difficult to read or theyre too large and its a struggle for all the information to fit in and the text dominates rather than the detail now a drawing is easier to read if the same text heights are used consistently across the drawing for example all notes and dimensions they should be the same height likewise text should be consistent or title text should be consistent so heres an example the annotation notes here theyre all consistently the same height as the dimensions with the primary title text is higher double the height and the secondary title text is consistent height so when thats presented in its final format it has a consistent style which makes it legible now in
