To delete the date: Go to File and select Print. At the bottom, click Edit Header and Footer. Even though Date and Time is not selected, it will still print out, so select Date and Time. Choose Fixed, and then delete all the text from the box. Click Apply to All.
Experts emphasize – and practitioners know – the 2.4. 8 rule: 2 minutes per slide / 4 bullet points per slide / 8 words per bullet point. But how often do we actually follow it? And how easy is it?
The 10/20/30 rule of PowerPoint is a straightforward concept: no PowerPoint presentation should be more than ten slides, longer than 20 minutes, and use fonts smaller than 30 point size. Coined by Guy Kawasaki, the rule is a tool for marketers to create excellent PowerPoint presentations.
Each slide should have no more than 5 lines; each line should have no more than 5 words. • Why? ... Use font size 24+ for titles and 20+ for body, and no more than two fonts per slide. • ... A picture is worth a thousand words. • Why? ... Use body language to show people where to look. • ... Keep your presentations under 15 minutes. •
You may also have heard of the 10-20-30 rule. Created by former Apple brand ambassador Guy Kawasaki, the 10-20-30 rule states that a PowerPoint presentation should have no more than 10 slides, never last longer than 20 minutes, and should use a minimum point size of 30 for the font.
It might be deleted by the template creator. In this situation, you need to add a new slider master to it and create slides with the new slide master. Otherwise, the adding Date and Time operation won't work with that slide master. You may also contact the template creator.
The 10/20/30 rule of PowerPoint is a straightforward concept: no PowerPoint presentation should be more than ten slides, longer than 20 minutes, and use fonts smaller than 30 point size.
Follow the 5/5/5 rule Some experts suggest using the 5/5/5 rule: no more than five words per line of text, five lines of text per slide, or five text-heavy slides in a row.
In Slide Sorter View, Ctrl-click each slide where the slide numbers are not appearing. Click the Home tab in the Ribbon and click Reset in the Slides group. If placeholders have been deleted on the slides in Normal View and replaced with text boxes, Reset will not correct that issue.
Just go to the Design tab and click on Slide Size. There you can choose the format you want.
