On the right of your screen, a window appears with lots of lines of code telling you what the font type and size is. Thats the hard way. Then simply hover over any text on a webpage, and the name of the font pops up. To get further information about the font, click on it to reveal a window that displays more detail.
Open the image in Photoshop and select the Rectangular Marquee Tool. Use this tool to select the area of the image that contains the text you want to match. From the toolbar, choose Type Match Font. Choose from the matched fonts already installed on your machine, or download from Typekit by clicking the cloud icon.
If you dont like the above keyboard shortcuts or dont want to use your mouse to select the tooltip, theres another Word shortcut to paste without formatting. Use Ctrl + Alt + V (or Cmd + Alt + V on a Mac) to open the Paste Special window. Here, select Unformatted Text to paste in plain text.
Select each font you want to copy. (Be sure to select all versions of the fonts you used. For example, also send Times Bold, Times Italic, and Times BoldItalic when sending Times Roman.) Next, right-click (and hold) on one of the selected fonts and drag onto the folder you created on the desktop.
Click where you want the text to appear, then do one of the following: Paste the text with its current formatting into a new paragraph: Choose Edit Paste, or press Command-V on the keyboard. Paste and match the style of the text where youre pasting: Choose Edit Paste and Match Style.
In Word, you can choose to paste text using the formatting of the source, destination, or just pure text.Follow these steps to turn it on. Go to File Options Advanced. In the Cut, copy, and paste section, select Show Paste Options button when content is pasted. Select OK.
