15.2 Duplicating text boxes You can duplicate think-cells text boxes by selecting them and hitting Ctrl + D . You can use Ctrl + C and Ctrl + V to insert a copy of the selected text boxes. Another option known from PowerPoint is to right-click and drag the frame of selected text boxes.
To add recurring text to each slide, follow this procedure: Call up the Slide Master if its not displayed already. Add a text box to the Slide Master by selecting the Insert tab on the Ribbon and then clicking the Text Box button (found in the Text group). Type the text that you want to appear on each slide.
Insert a text box Open the slide you want to add the box to. On the ribbon, select the Insert tab, then select. Text Box. On the slide, click and drag to draw the text box in the position and size you want.
To insert a text box in PowerPoint, click the Text Box button in the Text button group on the Insert tab of the Ribbon. Then click and drag over the area in the slide over which to place the text box. Then release the mouse button.
Click the AutoFit Options tool at the lower-left corner of the placeholder box. Select Split Text Between Two Slides or Continue on a New Slide. A new slide is created immediately after the current one.
Copy and Paste Select the text, slide, or object you want to copy. Click the Copy button on the Home tab. Press Ctrl + C. Click where you want to place the copied text, slide, or object. Click Paste. Press Ctrl + V.
Or open an existing ppt. Go to View. You will be in Slide Master mode. Slide in the center area will look like this. Insert a Text box anywhere you want. Key in text into it and format as you want. Go back to Slide Master tab and click on Close button on extreme right. This text box will appear on all of your slides.
Copy a text box Click the border of the text box that you want to copy. Right-click and select Copy from the menu. Make sure that the pointer is not inside the text box, but rather on the border of the text box. Place your cursor where you want the copied text box to be, right-click, and then click Paste.
