Select your text while in the editor. Hold down the CTRL key and press X to cut.
Copy specific content from a PDF Right-click the document, and choose Select Tool from the pop-up menu. Drag to select text, or click to select an image. Right-click the selected item, and choose Copy.
How to select text in a PDF document: Click on text and drag the Select to select letters, words or paragraphs. Outside the text, click and drag to draw a selection marquee over the text you wish to select. Right-click anywhere on the page and choose Select All to select all the text in the document.
Open the PDF in Preview. Click the toolbox icon to open the Markup Toolbar. Click the T icon in the toolbar to create a new text box. Click the text box to select it.
The reason behind it is that scanned documents consist of images of text. If you want to copy text from a scanned document, you need to convert it to an editable PDF document. You can do that using the OCR feature in PDF converter tools.
Open the PDF file in docHub, if you want to edit the PDF first, use the editing tools from the panel. Go to Tools Export PDF, save PDF as Word document, then do the copying pasting. (Optional) For scanned PDF, go to Tools Enhance Scans Recognize Text In this File and start the OCR process.
Right-click on the selected text, and then select Copy. You can paste the copied text into comments, bookmarks, and documents authored in other applications.
To select all text in Acrobat Reader, go to Edit Select All, then copy the text by selecting Edit Copy. To paste the copied text in your Word document, right-click the document and select Paste.
