How to Use the Copy Paste Text In PDF Feature. Open the PDF document you want to copy text from. Click on the Edit button in the toolbar at the top of the page. Select the Copy Paste Text option from the dropdown menu.
In the Linux desktop environment, there are two methods of copying and pasting. Highlight-to-copy/middle-click-to-paste and CTRL+C -to-copy/ CTRL+V -to-paste.
Right click anywhere inside the Command Prompt window and select Mark from the popup menu. Use the left mouse button to highlight the text to be copied and then press Enter on the keyboard to copy it. The text can now be pasted into any text box or document by right clicking and selecting Paste.
Highlight the text you want to copy, right-click with your mouse, and choose Copy. Paste the text into another document of your choice, and youre good to go.

The correct keyboard shortcut to copy text within a Linux terminal is Ctrl + Shift + C, and Ctrl + Shift + X for cutting. Similarly, to paste a string of text, press Ctrl + Shift + V. The underlying reason for this behavior lies in Linuxs Unix roots.
