To insert a header or footer into your PDF document: On the Page Layout tab, in the Page Marks group, click the arrow under Header Footer, and select Apply to document. A menu lists all header or footer profiles. Select a profile from the list to apply it to your PDF document.

To do this go to menu View - Tools - Page, click on Watermark and choose Add Watermark. Then you will be able to choose an image file and configure its position. Right-click on the image and select the Copy option. You can then paste the image to the required area by keying Ctrl + V.
Insert images into a PDF Open the PDF in Acrobat and then choose Edit Image. In the dialog, select the image file you want to insert. Select where you want to insert the image or select drag to resize it as you insert.
By adding watermarks, you can insert images to the sections of headers and footers in a PDF file.
To do this go to menu View - Tools - Page, click on Watermark and choose Add Watermark. Then you will be able to choose an image file and configure its position. Another idea is to place a button using an image as an icon in its layout and duplicate it across pages, flattening the pages with a script after that.
Select all the elements (text and graphics) in the header or footer. Press Ctrl+C. This copies the header or footer information to the Clipboard. Select the second document.
