Click FILE Save, pick or browse to a folder, type a name for your document in the File name box, and click Save. Save your work as you go - hit Ctrl+S often.
The DOC file format was the only file format for Microsoft Office until the company launched its 2003 version of MS Word. The DOCX format was introduced with the launch of the MS Word 2007 and is still the file format up to now.
Right-click on any single document name, and then select Clear unpinned Documents. Click Yes to confirm the removal in the next dialog box. Your recently opened Word documents are removed from the list. You can also remove the record of a single document.
Open the file you want to view. Go to File Info Version History. Select a version to open it. If you want to restore a previous version youve opened, select Restore.
Click the Office button, click Prepare, and click Properties. In the Properties pane, click the Document Properties text in the upper left corner and click Advanced Properties. In the dialog that pops up, click the Statistics tab to see the Created date.
