Open PowerPoint, go to File, Export, and create handouts. Choose to include slide notes or just the slides. Click OK to convert all slides to a Word document. Edit the slides in Word and save. This process allows for easy editing of PowerPoint slides in Word.

Click File Export. On the File Format menu, select the picture format that you want, such as JPEG or PNG. Select either Save Every Slide or Save Current Slide Only. You may also enter a size for your slide images in the Width and Height boxes.
Convert PowerPoint slides to Word on Mac. Open the PPT file in PowerPoint and select File Export from the menu bar. Name your file in the Save As text box and designate a location on your local disk to store it. Under File Format, select the Rich Text Format (.rtf) option.
Convert Presentation to Word on a Mac Open PowerPoint and then open the presentation you would like to convert. Click on File Send To Microsoft Word. Microsoft word should open and show the converted slideshow in the new document. Save the new file by clicking on File Save.
Select the slide or slides you want to copy, and then on the Home tab, click Copy. To select multiple sequential slides, click the first slide, press Shift, and then click the last slide that you want. To select multiple non-sequential slides, press Ctrl, and then click each slide that you want.
Convert PowerPoint to Word File You can use Microsoft PowerPoint itself to convert a PowerPoint to a Word doc or docx file. Use PowerPoints export functionality to export the PowerPoint to the Word format.
Select Change File Type and then select PowerPoint Picture Presentation. This creates another power point file where your slide are picture format. Then open this file and Export Create pdf/xps document and your should find your PDF manages all the fonts and graphics without a problem.
Convert Presentation to Word on a Mac Open PowerPoint and then open the presentation you would like to convert. Click on File Send To Microsoft Word. Microsoft word should open and show the converted slideshow in the new document. Save the new file by clicking on File Save.
If you get an error message that says, PowerPoint couldnt write to Microsoft Word, try the process again after first restarting your computer and opening only PowerPoint. Restarting your computer will free up memory for the export process, and having other programs closed during the process will do the same.
In the open presentation, do the following: Click File Export. Under Export, click Create Handouts, and under Create Handouts in Microsoft Word, click Create Handouts.
On the Home tab, in the Clipboard group, click the arrow under Paste, and then click Paste Special. In the As list, select Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation object or Microsoft PowerPoint Slide object. Select Paste to insert an embedded object, or select Paste link to insert a link to the object, and then click OK.
