If you cant copy text from the pdf file it means that file is secured. You need to unlock the pdf file. Go to ilovepdf.com and over here click on the unlock pdf. Select the secured pdf file. Click unlock pdf and wait for a few moments. Now download the unlocked pdf file. If you open it you will see that now you can copy and paste text as usual.
