Open in PDF viewer extension opens PDF links in your default external PDF viewer application like docHub Reader or Foxit PDF reader. This extension adds a context menu item to your browser context menu over PDF links.
Use the Find toolbar to quickly search the current PDF and replace text. Press Ctrl+F for Windows or Command + F for macOS to open the Find toolbar. Enter the word you want to search for. Select the ellipsis as shown to replace a word, and select Replace text.
Opera can search through the text on a page and find keywords for you. To find text on a page, press Ctrl + F or ⌘ + F on your keyboard. Type in the search field to find your text.
If you do not see a column of buttons on the right go to the View menu Show/Hide (3) Once the document opens select the Recognize Text button above the document. Then select the recognize Text button. The text within the pdf will now be searchable.
Once you see the Dashboard, you can Edit PDF in Opera by uploading it from your device or linking it from your online storage platform. Open the file for editing and then make any needed modifications with the help of our easy-to-use toolbar.
To make a PDF searchable using docHub, you can follow these steps: Open docHub on your computer. Click Open. Find and select the document you want to make searchable, then click Open. Head to Tools and select Recognize Text. Press PDF Output Style Searchable Image. Select OK.
From the drop-down menu, select Open with PDF Viewer. This will open the PDF document in Operas built-in PDF viewer. Once the PDF document is open, click on the magnifying glass icon in the top-right corner of the PDF viewer. This will activate the search function.
One of the main reasons why PDFs are not searchable is that they dont include any text. The PDF may be a scanned document or just an image-based document. If thats the case, then there is no searchable text. You can read the text within the image-based document, but the PDF tool cannot.
