Unfortunately, its not incredibly intuitive for how you could take data from a PDF and bring it into Microsoft Excel. It turns out its pretty easy to do, and Im going to show you step-by-step how you can get your data out of a PDF into an Excel file. All right, well why dont we jump on the PC and get started here? Here I am on my PC, and I have a PDF file sitting on my desktop and Id like to bring the data into Excel to analyze it. Lets take a quick look at whats in the PDF. I have the PDF file open and its a fairly typical PDF. I have an image at the top. I have some text below it, and then heres the portion of the PDF that I want to bring into Excel. You can use any PDF reader to open the file on windows. Once the file is opened, fit the PDF page to the screen and click on the Prt Scrn on your keyboard. This will take a screenshot of the PDF page. Now, open the Paint on your computer, click on the Edit button and click on Paste.
