Using an iframe tag is the second way to embed a pdf file in an HTML web page. In web development, web developers use the iframe tag to embed files in various formats and even other websites within a web page. Due to its wide compatibility, the iframe tag is widely used for embedding pdf.
Embed PDF in HTML Using the embed Tag. To embed external resources in a webpage, HTML provides an embed tag. Using the embed tag, we can include external resources such as PDFs, media players, and webpages. The tag has the src attribute, which allows us to specify the path to the file that will be embedded.
Steps to turn a PDF into a web page. Open the file you want to convert in your PDF editor. Select the Create Edit button on the right-side toolbar. Click Export PDF at the top of the window. Choose HTML Web Page and select your options. Click Export and choose the folder where you want to save your new page.
Navigate to the Open With option and choose Chrome PDF Viewer from the drop-down menu. You can also drag a PDF document directly into the browser, and it will open. Using this above outline method, opening a PDF document becomes easy. You can view a downloaded document directly using this method.
How to embed a PDF in HTML with Google Tag Manager Log in or sign up in Google Tag Manager. Create a new tag there, choose Custom HTML Put the first line of the Elfsight installation code to the created tag. Create a trigger for adding the tag to the web page. Save the tag and publish the changes.
How to set Chrome as default PDF viewer Locate and browse for the PDF you want to view. Right-click on it. Select Open with Choose another app. Choose Google Chrome and click on Always.
How to Convert PDF to HTML on Windows Import the PDF Document. Click the Free Download button below to the UPDF PDF converter successfully. Select Output Format as HTML. Now go to click the Export PDF button located on the right side and pick the appropriate format. Click Export to Start the Conversion.
How to convert a PDF into HTML. Open Acrobat. Choose Export To from the File menu. Select HTML Web Page. Your PDF will automatically convert and open in your default web browser.
