Open a PDF file containing a scanned image in Acrobat for Mac or PC. Click on the Edit PDF tool in the right pane. Acrobat automatically applies optical character recognition (OCR) to your document and converts it to a fully editable copy of your PDF. Click the text element you wish to edit and start typing.
How to convert PDFs to Word. Click the Select a file button above, or drag and drop a file into the drop zone. Select the PDF you want to convert to the DOCX file format. Watch Acrobat automatically convert the file from PDF to an editable Word document.

How to make a PDF editable with Acrobat. Navigate to the Edit PDFs tool. Click the Select a file button to upload your PDF. After the file uploads, sign in with your docHub account. Heres how: Open Acrobat, click on the Tools tab, and select Prepare Form. Select or scan a document, and Acrobat will automatically analyze your file and add form fields. Review areas highlighted in blue to be sure the fillable fields are in the correct locations. When youre done, click Close Forms Editing.
Edit a PDF Go to File Open. Find the PDF and open it (you might have to select Browse and find the PDF in a folder). Word tells you that its going to make a copy of the PDF and convert its contents into a format that Word can display. After your edits, you save it as a Word doc or a PDF.
How to Edit PDF in Microsoft Word Upload the PDF to Microsoft Word. Open the Microsoft Word application on your computer and select Open Browse. Edit the PDF in Word. You will now see an editable version of the PDF in the Word window. Save the edited PDF. After making changes, save the file as a PDF.
How to edit PDF files: Open a file in Acrobat. Click on the Edit PDF tool in the right pane. Use Acrobat editing tools: Add new text, edit text, or update fonts using selections from the Format list. Save your edited PDF: Name your file and click the Save button. Thats it.
