hello everyone and welcome back to another video on dbt in the last video we went through installing and setting up your first project and now in this video we will focus on on sources and adding sources to your project and trying to understand why you would need that and how its used so sources are ultimately there a yaml file in the terms of dbt and the way i like to think about this is sources are the raw data tables that everything else gets built on top of the default location for sources is set to the models directory and you can see that if we hop back in here in our dbt project its set here you can change that for the sake of this we wont but just understand that that is an option and you can learn a lot more about the different configurations and properties that you can set by going to these links here and ill make sure to attach this so what i will be doing here in my for as an example in our snowflake environment is looking at the snowflake

Login to your account or create a new one if you dont have an account yet. Once youre logged in, click on the Convert PDF to PDG option in the main menu. Upload the PDF file you want to convert by clicking on the Choose File button. You can also drag and drop the file directly into the designated area.
Make a PDF searchable with docHub. Open docHub on your computer. Click Open. Find and select the document you want to make searchable, then click Open. Head to Tools and select Recognize Text. Press PDF Output Style Searchable Image. Select OK.
Open a PDF file containing a scanned image in Acrobat for Mac or PC. Click on the Edit PDF tool in the right pane. Acrobat automatically applies optical character recognition (OCR) to your document and converts it to a fully editable copy of your PDF. Click the text element you wish to edit and start typing.
Try converting the file Try swapping the document into a format, such as Microsoft Word, to see if the output is readable. Converting the document into a full-text PDF is also an option, though OCR may not function well if the text is especially blurry.
Find the PDF you want to open in your Files and double click to open. Select docHub (or whichever reader you downloaded) from the list of available options. If no list appears or the page opens in another application, you can right-click the file and select Open With to choose your PDF reader. Click Open.
Upload the PDF file that you want to convert. You can either drag and drop the file or click on the Choose File button to select it from your computer. After the file is uploaded, will automatically convert it to DST format. This may take a few moments depending on the size of the file.
To convert PDF to JPEG Open the PDF in Acrobat. Select Convert from the global bar. From the left panel, select image format, and then from the drop-down menu, select JPEG. Select Convert to JPEG. In the dialog that opens, select a location where you want to save the file and if required, change the file name.
A PDF file is machine readable if it has either been computer generated, or run through an OCR converter to convert it from a scanned PDF to searchable PDF. To test if it is machine readable, try to copy and paste the text in the PDF. If this is possible then it is machine readable.
