In this video, Im going to teach you three ways on how you can protect your digital download such as PDF documents, media files or anything else that can be digitally downloaded. Each of these ways has its pros and cons and flaws so theres no one solution or method that does it all. So if you do add maybe two of these methods or perhaps even three of these methods then its even better. Lets go onto method number one, which is using a PDF protection tool such as PDF2Go. So go to PDF2Go.com and then where you go is to the Protect PDF option. So if you go to all tools, theres an option to click on Protect PDF. From here you simply drag and drop your file right here. So this option is for PDF documents specifically. So lets say Ive got this ebook right here that I want to protect or password protect specifically thatll upload it as you can see and then while we wait for that, we can just choose a password that we want. If you dont have access to a PDF tool, you can download your workbook as a PDF directly from Excel. Open the File menu in the top left corner. Click Export. In the panel that appears, click Create PDF/XPS Document. Optimize the file for Standard or Minimum.
Use the Fit to Page option before exporting to PDF: Select the chart in Excel. Go to the Page Layout tab in the Excel ribbon. Click on the Print Area dropdown and select Fit to Page or Fit to Sheet. Adjust the scaling options if needed.
Tips to Convert Excel to PDF without Losing Formulas Check the Export Formulas option: Make sure that you check the Export Formulas option in the Options dialog box during the conversion process. This ensures that all formulas are included in the PDF file.
Save Excel as a Password Protected PDF Open the worksheet in Microsoft Excel. Click Print and select Universal Document Converter from the list of printers. Click Properties and select PDF Document as the output file format. In PDF Standard dropdown select Password protected.
Adjusting the margins can help ensure that data is not cut off when exporting to PDF. Use Fit to Page Option: When exporting the Excel file to PDF, choose the Fit to Page option to ensure that the entire document fits within the printable area. This option can be found in the PDF Export window under the Page tab.
How to add passwords and permissions to PDF files: Open a file in Acrobat and choose Tools Protect. Select whether you want to restrict editing with a password or encrypt the file with a certificate or password. Set password or security method as desired. Click OK and then click Save.
To fit the Excel spreadsheet to one page, click on No Scaling under Settings and choose Fit Sheet on One Page; now hit the Print button. A dialog box will appear, and here you have to enter a name, choose a location where you want to save the file, and hit the Save button to print Excel to PDF in one page.
