If you are converting ExcelPDF format. Open Excel sheet, click on Acrobat PDFMaker tabPreferences, under Settings tab click on Advanced Settings then Click on Fonts category and make sure Embed all fonts and Subset embedded fonts when the percent of characters used is less than: are checked.
Save Excel as a Password Protected PDF Open the worksheet in Microsoft Excel. Click Print and select Universal Document Converter from the list of printers. Click Properties and select PDF Document as the output file format. In PDF Standard dropdown select Password protected.
