Hi everyone, Kevin here. Today I want to show you how you can create your very own fillable form using Microsoft Word. First off, what is a fillable form? You can have people go in and fill out a form, but they wont be able to edit the questions or the structure of the form. You can use things like check boxes, text fields, drop down lists, date pickers, to build your form. Once someones finished completing your form, they can e-mail it back, they could print it out, or you could even connect it to a database. Connecting to a database is outside of the scope of todays tutorial. Its kind of like an docHub PDF form, but its Microsofts version of it. Right-click the PDF file and, in the pop-up menu, click Open with. Right click and choose to open the PDF with Microsoft Word. Click OK to allow Word to convert the selected PDF. Use the file picker icon to select your PDF. Once you open the PDF in Google Drive, choose to open it in Google Docs.
Scan text into Word In Word click File Open. Navigate to where your PDF file is stored, and open it. Word will open a dialog box confirming that it is going to attempt to import the text of the PDF file. Click OK to confirm, and Word will import the text.
