In this video tutorial, we will learn how to assign a nickname to a patient in practice management and how to assign an alert. To add a nickname, go to the patient information section and click on the folder icon. In the nickname field, enter the patient's preferred name and click OK. To add an alert, go to clinical history notes, right-click, select new, type out the alert name, and click OK. Upon signing into the patient's chart again, you will see the new alert added.
